Advisory Board

Clean Diesel has gathered a team of automotive and emission control industry specialists together with its own in-house experts, to form the Technology Advisory Board. The Board's role is to advise on technical development priorities and supply input to market needs and opportunities. All members are pre-eminent in their fields and bring a wealth of specialist scientific and technical expertise to the company.

David F. Merrion
David F. Merrion is currently the Chairman of Clean Diesel’s Technical Advisory Board. He has extensive experience in the diesel industry as the former Executive VP Engineering for Detroit Diesel Corporation, a Daimler Chrysler subsidiary, and continues as a consultant to Detroit Diesel Corporation as well as other companies and law firms. He is the Chairman of David F. Merrion, LLC, and Chairman of Green Vision Technology. David is an SAE Fellow and member of ASME and has a number of publications to his name. He holds a patent on a diesel electric hybrid power train and is a graduate of both General Motors Institute and MIT.
Dr. Dean Tomazic
Dr. Tomazic is Vice President Engine Performance and Emissions, North America, for FEV Engine Technology, Inc. Dean, who gained both his Masters degrees and his Doctorate from Schweinfurt and Aachen Technical Universities in Germany, began his working life with Mercedes-Benz in Stuttgart. Dean, a SAE Member, has presented dozens of papers relating to emissions and their control.
Michael D. Jackson
Michael Jackson is Director of Transportation Technology at TIAX LLC (formerly Acurex Environmental) where he is responsible for transportation policies and technologies to improve air quality and energy diversification. Michael, who gained his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, is a member of both SAE and ASME.
Victor Ghuman
Victor Ghuman is a graduate of Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago with an MSME and Master of Science in Mathematics from Loyola University. He retired as Executive Director, Advanced Engineering from Cummins Inc., after a long career with Cummins. He has 14 patents issued in his name and is a member of both SAE and ASME.
