Mungo Park - Non-executive Chairman of the Board

Mr. Park, 53, is the Chairman and founder of Innovator Capital Limited, the London, England, based, specialist clean-tech, investment bank, which provided financial advice to Clean Diesel from 2006 through January 2009. Mungo possesses 30 years of investment banking experience in the U.S. and Europe focusing on emerging technologies in a wide range of industries including environmental, industrial, telecom, IT, and media.

Derek R. Gray - Non-executive, Chairman of Audit Committee and member of Compensation & Nominating Committee

Derek has been a Director of the company since 1998. He has been Managing Director of S G Associates Limited, a UK fiscal advisory firm since 1971 and a Director of Velcro Industries N.V. since 1974.

Michael L. Asmussen - President and CEO

Prior to joining Clean Diesel Technologies in September 2008, from 1996 to 2007, Mr. Asmussen held a variety of positions at Eaton Corporation, a diversified power management company with 2007 sales of $13 billion. Between 2005 and 2007, Mr. Asmussen managed the Mirror Controls Division sales and marketing team where his primary focus was driving global growth strategies, and during this time he helped significantly increase sales. In 2007, he led the divestiture of the Mirror Controls Division and became Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Mirror Controls International, the world's largest automotive mirror actuator manufacturer. In addition to assisting in the establishment of new organizational structures, his broad scope of responsibilities included P&L accountability, strategic market planning, and leadership of the global sales and marketing organization. From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Asmussen was Strategy Manager for the Specialty Controls Division of Eaton Automotive, a global leader in critical automotive components to reduce emissions and fuel consumption, and improve vehicle stability and performance. From 2000 to 2002, he served as Customer Manager for all North American sales initiatives with Ford Motor Company. Mr. Asmussen holds M.B.A. and Bachelor of Science degrees from Michigan State University.

Charles W. Grinnell - Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
A general corporate legal practitioner with concentrations in securities law, mergers and acquisitions and taxation,  Charles has been a Director and Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Clean Diesel since its inception in 1994. He has held senior legal positions with several other public companies in the oil and gas, engineered products, automotive parts and cleantech fields. A member of the state and federal bars of New York and Connecticut, Charles holds a JD degree from Columbia University School of law and an LLM (Tax) degree from the University of Bridgeport School of Law. He entered practice initially with the New York City law firm of Dewey, Ballantine, Bushby, Palmer & Wood.
David F. Merrion - Non-Executive
David has extensive experience in the diesel industry as the former Executive VP Engineering for Detroit Diesel Corporation, a Daimler AG subsidiary, and continues as a consultant to Detroit Diesel Corporation as well as other companies. He is the Chairman of David F. Merrion, LLC, and is on the Board of Hy-Drive Technologies Ltd. David is an SAE Fellow and member of ASME and has a number of publications to his name. He was awarded the ASME Honda Medal for his contribution to the diesel industry. He is on the National Academy of Science Committee looking at technologies for fuel consumption reduction from heavy vehicles for NHTSA. He holds a patent on a diesel electric hybrid powertrain and is a graduate of both General Motors Institute and MIT.
