Title: Vice President Specialty Emission Systems

Location: Oxnard, CA

Job Duties: Catalytic Solutions, Inc. dba CDTi in Oxnard, CA seeks a Vice President Specialty Emission Systems. The VP Specialty Emission Systems has the following jobs duties: Provide leadership for the company’s specialty emission system product line to meet or exceed annual sales goals. Manage a sales team and coordinate the company’s research and engineering teams and resources. Develop strategies and appropriate metrics to stimulate business growth for specialty emissions products and actively pursue business development opportunities. Conceptualize complex, technical, and commercial problems and commercialize appropriate solutions. Lead commercial team providing technical solutions to emission challenges in markets ranging from heavy duty on- and off-road vehicles, fuel borne catalysts, industrial equipment, mining, and other. Understand the competitive landscape and economic conditions affecting the industry, anticipating and reacting quickly to trends and changes in the market. Act as liaison with the California Air Resources Board, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and others to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for emission systems. Develop skills and capabilities of staff (e.g. communications, conflict resolution, decision making). Interact with other departments and business unit leaders to ensure exchange of communication, project development, and problem resolution. Participate in budget preparation and manage the final budget including revenue, SG&A, and gross margin components. Provide direction and priority to engineering for product improvements/issues. Supervise the work of three subordinates.

Requierments: Must have: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related and at least 5 years of application or automotive engineering management experience. To be relevant, experience must include the following: 5 years experience with emission systems of diesel engines and aftertreatment equipment; 3 years of project management experience including the creation and execution of project plans that have achieved identified targets; 3 years of experience in technical writing; 2 years of experience with engineering design; 1 year of customer relations experience; 1 year of regulatory body relations experience; 5 years experience managing people; 2 years experience managing P&L activities for engineering product line; and 2 years experience working in an international environment.
