Low Temperature BACT

Increasingly, emissions regulations at national or local levels are calling for best available control technology (BACT) for the application at hand as part of a mandatory compliance requirement.   These include low emission zones where any vehicle of a certain class entering the LEZ must meet emissions requirements, as well specific restrictions from public fleets or private vehicles used on public contracts, such as New York’s Local Law 77.

CDTi’s Purifier e3 is classed as best available control technology for low-temperature applications where a DPF is not feasible.   It bridges the gap between a DPF and DOC with 76% reduction in PM and the added benefit of a 9% NOx reduction and no NO2 increase.
