Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc is a publicly traded company, trading on the American NASDAQ market under the symbol CDTI, the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange under the symbol CDT and CDTS and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Xetra) under the symbol CDI. Until December 1999, Clean Diesel Technologies was a development stage enterprise and its efforts were devoted to the research, development and commercialization of Platinum Plus diesel fuel catalyst products and NOx reduction systems. During December 1999 the Company received its US EPA registration for the platinum-cerium diesel fuel catalyst product and completed its first commercial sales, accordingly in the opinion of management, the company was no longer a development stage enterprise. In August 2004 CDTI opened Clean Diesel International, a UK representative office just outside London.
