Purifier

Purifier
is a replacement part for the exhaust muffler and
has been developed to offer the maximum possible performance
in terms of both in-service reliability and particulate
emission reduction.
Customers have chosen Purifier
over competitive systems as it has been designed for
robust diesel application and offers three mechanisms
for regeneration (in-cylinder, balance point and trigger
point mechanisms). This causes higher levels of regeneration
of the particulate collected by the filter resulting
in improved in-service reliability and reduced exhaust
back pressures.
By
utilising a more effective use of the platinum catalyst
required for regeneration, the total precious metal
content has been significantly reduced. Consequently,
the filter material has been upgraded to silicon carbide
at no extra cost to the customer. This improvement
means that the device is robust enough to withstand
in-service demands and is fit for the life of the
vehicle. Therefore, there is no need for filter replacements
and minimal chance of a filter failing.
